Recently purchased a new s20 and i can't get my android auto to work. I upgraded my 5 uconnect media unit (uaa) to a 7 uconnect media unit (uag) and my usb ports stopped working, they won't charge my phone and android auto doesn't work. I have a 2018 gc altitude as well.
Fca is really dropping the ball on this van. I called uconnect and they have a ticket open that indicated a hotfix due in january 2019. When i use android auto in my jeep i use it via usb cable.

#2 · nov 1, 2019. I can start it on my phn and it works from my phn but not on uconnect. Got the truck in november 2018 and was immediately able to start using android auto with it and my oneplus 5.
When i switch back to the uaa unit the ports begin working again, i can charge my phone and play media from the usb connection. I've got 4 different stock usb cables and they all work for about a week solid and then after that it's back to my original problem. If playback doesn't begin shortly, try.
Performance pages app still works. One of my biggest gripes is that if i plug in my phone and have aa start between phone and uconnect, i cannot start pandora or spotify through uconnect without getting the not available right now message. Make sure you have disabled optimize battery usage in the android auto app settings.
I figured i'd look into it at some point that maybe the settings got messed up. From what i can tell, it happened when i tried to charge my wireless headphone pod (from the dash) while my pixel 3 was connected to the usb in the center console.
